Insider Threat Package

Insider Threat program is required for ALL cleared companies, as is a fully-qualified Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO).

The ITPSO is the subject matter expert whom gathers the functional leads, as needed (or QRTLY) to review any observed/reported indicators of Insider Threats. This gathering is known as an Insider Threat Working Group (ITWG) and may (depending on company size) consist of:

• Senior Management Official

• FSO

• ITPSO

• HR

• Finance

• Legal

• IT

• Contract Program Manager (if relevant)

 The ITWG is tasked to act impartially in consideration of the observed or reported actions and behaviors with a priority laced on National Security above and beyond personal or corporate leanings.

DCSA takes this very seriously and policy, designation letters, documentation, and training records are all audited during Security Reviews.
